notflix ist ein privat geführter Videoserver, wie ein privates Netflix oder Amazon Prime - realisiert wird das über den Service Plex. Der Unterschied ist, dass dort nur geiler Shit liegt.
Um meine Medien zu sehen, musst Du "gute Filme" und "gute Serien" in der Seitenleiste links auswählen (und idealerweise anpinnen).
Schaut man im Browser muss man nach der Anmeldung meist oben rechts noch auf "open Plex" drücken, für so ziemlich jedes Betriebssystem (Computer, TV Sticks, Fernseher selbst, Handys, Tablets...) gibt es aber auch native Apps; die von TVs (Samsung, LG...) sind leider oft nicht so gut, auf einem FireTV Stick ist es problemlos.
Plex merkt sich leider nicht, wenn Du die Sprache andauernd umstellst - um Deine Präferänzen kannst Du dauerhaft auf der Plex Webseite festlegen (leider nicht innerhalb der Apps). Ich versuche stets Original und Deutsch bereit zu stellen, in Ausnahmefällen ist das leider nicht immer möglich.
Es muss aber auch auf ein paar Dinge hingewiesen werden. Weil privat geführt kann ich, wenn geschaut wird, sowohl sehen was geschaut wird (und das auf die Sekunde genau, wo man gerade ist, voll gruselig), aber auch von welcher IP. Ich mache mit diesen Daten nichts und wüsste auch gar nicht was ich damit anfangen sollte, ich will das aber transparent kommuniziert wissen. Generell shame ich auch niemanden für das was geschaut wird, denn 1. habe ich es selbst drauf geladen und 2. ist da eh nur krass gutes Zeug. Ich frage hoechstens mal nach wie eine Sendung oder Film so ist, wenn ich es selber noch nicht geschaut habe.
Da dieser Server aber wortwörtlich hinter meinem Fernseher steht kann es sein, dass etwas gewartet werden muss (im doppelten Wortsinn), oder die Vodafone mal wieder einen Ausfall hat. Oder, wenn viele Leute schauen, es mal nicht so gut läuft - hab ich keine Erfahrungswerte, werden wir rausfinden.
Wenn Du auf dem Server irgendwas vermisst, kannst Du hier erfahren wie Du mir das ganz bequem mitteilen kannst. Da ich die Festplatten selber bezahlen muss kann es auch mal vorkommen, dass ich Inhalte lösche - für gewöhnlich aber nur solche, die sowieso niemand geschaut hat.

To access my media, you have to select (and ideally pin) "gute Filme" and "gute Serien" in your Sidebar.
When using a browser, after logging in, you usually need to click "open Plex" in the top right corner. However, there are also native apps for pretty much every operating system (computers, TV sticks, smart TVs, phones, tablets...). Unfortunately, the apps for TVs (Samsung, LG...) are often not great, but it works flawlessly on a Fire TV Stick. Unfortunately Plex does not remember when you adjust the language every time - you can adjust your preferences permanently on the Plex Website (not inside the Apps). I always try to provide both the original and german dub, though this isn't always possible; because of the nature from german-oriented releases, not all content comes with english subtitles. So please hit me up if there's one missing, I will try to find, sync, and add those!
A few things need to be pointed out, though. Since it is privately managed, I can see what is being watched (down to the exact second of where someone is - super creepy) and from which IP address. I do not do anything with this data and would not even know what to do with it, but I want to be transparent about it. Generally, I do not shame anyone for what they watch, because 1) I uploaded it myself, and 2) there is only really awesome stuff on there anyway. At most, I might ask how a show or movie is if I have not watched it myself.
Since this server literally sits behind my TV, there might be occasional hickups, maintenance, or delays - like when Vodafone has another outage. Or, if a lot of people are watching, it might not run smoothly - I do not have experience with that yet, but we will find out.
If you miss some content on the server, you can find out here how you can comfortably give me a hint. Since I have to pay for the hard disks myself, it can also happen that I delete content - but usually only stuff that nobody has watched anyway.
